The Sketchers decided to take the ferry to Port Townsend to sketch...while waiting for the boat at Keystone, I went to the beach and caught this image. I was glad I did because I found, much to my chagrin, that drawing on the rolling ferry has much the same effect as reading in a car... alas, no sketches from the boat. It was a fairly cold, overcast but calm day that I tried to capture in this sketch. Loved the birds on the tops of the pilings. Pencil.Friday, June 18, 2010
Daytripping
